News Round-up, 23 August

Berbizier names the Italian team for Friday night. (RTE) 

Former Wallaby captain Phil Kearns doesn’t rate the All-Blacks for the title. (Planet Rugby) He reckons they will come a cropper in the quarter-final, either to Ireland, France or Argentina. Those Aussies and Kiwis just love each other, don’t they? 

Staying with the All-Blacks (and indeed Planet Rugby), PR has an interview with New Zealand out-half Dan Carter. 

The Official World Cup site reports on a get together for the 1987 World Cup winning All-Blacks team. If New Zealand don’t win it this time, they’ll start to become like England and 1966.
