George gives us the thumbs up…

Just hot off the presses from RTE.ie. Geogre Gregan, the world record holder of international rugby caps and eternal scrum half (this is his fourth world cup!) for Australia reckons Ireland, along with five other teams have a chance of winning the world cup.

We’re “well disciplined and well lead by Brian O’Driscoll” according to George. He lists Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England and France with also having a chance at lifting the Web Ellis cup. He certainly knows his stuff!

I guess that sly fiver on Japan winning it was a lost cause.
